Molecular target
IL-6 Receptor
Cytokine receptor central to acute-phase inflammation. Antagonism (tocilizumab, sarilumab) is used in RA, giant cell arteritis, and the cytokine release syndrome of CAR-T therapy. Several plant compounds (curcumin, EGCG, resveratrol) modulate IL-6 expression downstream of NF-κB.

Pharmaceutical agents
Drugs that act on IL-6 Receptor
These medications have IL-6 Receptor among their molecular targets. Sharing a target is a mechanistic relationship — it does not make any plant below an alternative to, or substitute for, these drugs.
