Enzyme degrading natriuretic peptides (ANP, BNP), bradykinin, and substance P. Inhibition (sacubitril, in combination with valsartan as Entresto) prolongs the favorable cardiac effects of natriuretic peptides — basis for ARNI therapy in heart failure.
