Molecular target
H⁺/K⁺ ATPase (Proton Pump)
Gastric parietal cell enzyme that secretes acid. Targeted by proton pump inhibitors. No common botanical mechanism is identical to PPI inhibition, but several plants address the same indications (GERD, ulcer, dyspepsia) via distinct mechanisms: mucosal protection, mucin secretion, or anti-inflammatory action.

Pharmaceutical agents
Drugs that act on H⁺/K⁺ ATPase (Proton Pump)
These medications have H⁺/K⁺ ATPase (Proton Pump) among their molecular targets. Sharing a target is a mechanistic relationship — it does not make any plant below an alternative to, or substitute for, these drugs.
